First of all, amazing ambiance. Service was great! Everything was delicious! Happy hour chips & salsa, cucumber jalapeño margarita, original margarita with fresh orange, seared tuna, Mexican street corn, and best of all the flan was sooooooo good! Best we ever had. Can't wait to go back.

I came here for lunch with my wife around 2 PM. The restaurant was relatively empty, which I would expect at 2 PM, and we were seated quickly. Service overall was fast, friendly, and what I would expect from a restaurant at this price level. We started with a pitcher of the Cadillac margarita. It was very tasty and pretty strong. Definitely not too sweet and more on the lime-y side. They also did not overload the pitcher with ice as a lot of places do. We both loved it! Food-wise, we started with an order of chips and salsa. The chips were warm and just the right amount of saltiness. The order comes with a red and a green salsa. Both were incredibly flavorful and excellent. I prefer a less sweet green salsa, and this one really hit the mark. For our main course, we opted for the Quesabirria and the crispy fish tacos with a side of cilantro rice and beans. The Quesabirria is servied with two birria tacos overloaded with cheese and a side of consommé. The menu says there is habanero, but the dish was not spicy at all. The birria tacos are filled with a mix of chuck and short rib and are incredibly juicy and flavorful. The consommé is very tasty and rich. The crispy fish tacos were also excellent. The order comes with three. The fried fish is light, not heavy or greasy. Each taco is topped with slaw, avocado, and other fresh ingredients. My wife and I are of average build, and this was enough food for us. Overall, we really enjoyed El Dorado. My only complaint is that it is fairly pricy for what you get. Instead of the usual $30-$40 for a margarita pitcher, they charge $55 for regular and $65 for Cadillac. Both taco dishes averaged out to just over $20 per dish or just over $8 per taco. Rice and beans were an additional $4. You do get an elevated ambiance and environment, though. You can also tell that the ingredients and methods of preparation are a bit higher end as well.
